I wanted to write and thank you so much for taking a chance on Tanner last year. I know playing down a level was a true lesson in humility for him. I think a little humble pie is good for all of us now and then. We are so proud of his dedication and hard work. He did not make the 7th grade basketball or AAU that year. He did not make the 8th grade school team and played down a level in AAU last year. Even though this hurt so much he still kept on. He made the Ridge Point High School freshman team this year. The smile on that child’s face is something I will never forget. I appreciate you believing in his development and giving him a chance. I truly love the lessons you teach these kids. I love that school is first, as it should be. I just wanted to let yo know that we appreciate you. He hopes to play AAU this spring also. Thanks again!
